Your 3-Day Itinerary

A detailed breakdown of your wildlife adventure.

Journey: After an early breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Begin your scenic journey northwest towards Murchison Falls National Park (4–5 hours). You'll pass through the Luvero Triangle and Masindi Town, stopping for lunch at Kabalega Dinners.

Top of the Falls: On arrival, visit the Top of the Falls — where the mighty River Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunges 45 meters down, creating a thunderous roar and misty rainbow views.

Evening: Check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax as you prepare for the next day's adventures.

Accommodation: Paara Safari Lodge or Red Chilli Rest Camp.

Morning Game Drive: Start with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive on the Nyamsika Plateau. Spot wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Giraffes and warthogs are also commonly seen roaming the savanna.

Nile Boat Cruise: After lunch at the lodge, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. This relaxing ride offers chances to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and waterbirds like kingfishers, herons, and the rare shoebill stork.

Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Kabalega Resort.

Morning: Enjoy an early breakfast and check out. Start your journey back to Kampala with a major stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Rhino Tracking: Join a ranger for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot. This is an exciting opportunity to safely view Uganda's southern white rhinos up close in their natural habitat.

Departure: After tracking, have lunch en route and continue your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening. Your guide will drop you at your hotel or the airport.
